I’ve just recently started taking guitar lessons. And what’s even better, is that I am not spending a penny on it! Yes! I am getting guitar lessons for Free! Isn’t that great?
At first I was pessimistic, as to whether or not they would really work. I mean I had absolutely no experience. I didn’t know the names of the chords. I didn’t even know the proper way to hold the guitar! So, as you can tell, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. On top of it, I always thought that anything that’s free can’t be worth much. But I wasn’t ready to pay someone for guitar lessons, simply because I just couldn’t afford it, and I didn’t now how committed I would be. So where can you find free online guitar lessons for someone without any experience?
I was able to find a multitude of great guitar sites that offer free lessons, especially for a total beginner. All you have to do is type in “Guitar Lessons For Beginners” into a search engine, and you will get many sites that offer free lessons. I am taking free lessons right now that I found on one of these free sites. So far so good. I can play a few chords. The hardest part about Learning Guitar For Free online is to keep up with the practice. It’s so important in the beginning to never skip a day of practice, or you’ll basically have to start all over. That’s what happened to me. I got busy with the kids and work, and didn’t practice for a week, well when I picked up the guitar, I have forgotten how to play most of the chords! Playing guitar is not like riding a bicycle! If you stop playing, you will forget!
You have to be a very good self-motivator to Learn The Guitar online, whether it’s free or not. Otherwise you’ll quit withing first month. In fact most beginners quit right before they start getting good. That’s because beginning stage is also the hardest. You have to wait for your fingers to build up calluses. But once you do, it will be easy.
